Antique German Bisque Boy & Girl Double Spill Vases – Mould No. 3125

A charming matching pair of antique German bisque porcelain double spill vases, featuring a beautifully dressed boy and girl standing against dramatic feather or leaf-form vessels.

Each piece is decorated in soft lavender-blue and cream, with moulded feather-like detailing, applied decoration and delicate gold highlights. The figures have finely painted facial features and period-style clothing, giving the pair a wonderfully romantic Victorian appearance.

Most importantly, the impressed mould number 3125 allows us to match these to other surviving examples. Exact examples of this design are documented as German bisque double spill vases, Feather/Leaf Design #3125. One matching pair measures approximately 5¼ inches high.

Individual examples of mould #3125 also survive, including the matching boy vase, confirming that the number relates to this particular design rather than being an incidental marking.
