Aynsley Crimson Red & Gold Floral Bone China Tea Trio

A richly decorated vintage Aynsley bone china tea trio, comprising a teacup, matching saucer and side plate.

The design features a deep crimson-red border filled with elaborate scrolling gilt decoration, surrounding a cream ground with colourful floral bouquets in pink, blue, yellow and green. Fine gold edging completes the traditional English bone china appearance.

The underside carries the green Aynsley England Bone China crown backstamp. Aynsley used several variations of its crown-and-banner marks during the 20th century, and many designs were identified only by factory pattern numbers rather than given commercial pattern names. 

Comparable crimson-and-gold floral Aynsley trios are generally associated with mid-20th-century production, although without a pattern number or additional dating mark I would not assign a narrower date to this particular design.
