Royal Doulton Galaxy TC1038 Lidded Serving Dish – Vintage English China

A beautiful vintage Royal Doulton covered serving dish in the elegant Galaxy TC1038 pattern.

Made in England from Royal Doulton English Translucent China, the Galaxy pattern features delicate sprays of small blue flowers and foliage against a clean white ground.

This substantial round serving dish has a shallow bowl with a broad rim and its original matching domed lid. The lid is decorated with a floral garland surrounding the distinctive raised circular handle, while further floral decoration can be seen inside the dish when the lid is removed.

An attractive piece of vintage Royal Doulton tableware, ideal for serving vegetables or side dishes and particularly useful as a replacement or addition to an existing Galaxy TC1038 service.
