Original British miners’ flame safety lamp manufactured by the well-known Welsh maker E. Thomas & Williams Ltd, Aberdare.

Stamped “Cambrian” and numbered No. 181798, this is a genuine example of the classic Welsh miners’ safety lamp design. Solid brass construction with protective cage, glass cylinder and maker’s plaque intact.

Thomas & Williams are one of the most recognised names in mining lamp manufacture, producing lamps for industrial and commemorative use for well over a century.

This lamp retains attractive natural patina consistent with age and display use. It makes an excellent industrial heritage piece for display in a home, office, bar, study or collection.
