2003 Marvel Spider-Man Blue Relief Ceramic Mug Retro Collectable

A brilliant slice of early-2000s Marvel nostalgia, this unusual Spider-Man ceramic mug dates to 2003.

Finished in vivid blue, the tall mug features Spider-Man alongside a retro fact-file style design detailing the famous Marvel character.

Unlike an ordinary printed character mug, the decoration incorporates raised relief detailing. The base carries TM & © 2003 MARVEL, together with Made in Thailand and US Patent No. 6,241,837 B1. That patent, issued in 2001, covers a method of producing ceramic articles with relief decoration.
