Vintage Belleek Pottery Colonial Vase, shape 1219, handcrafted in Ireland and dating from the seventh-mark period.
This delicate porcelain vase has Belleek's characteristic warm ivory colouring with softly moulded decoration, subtle pink lustre and fine gold detailing. The body combines vertical ribbing with a raised geometric band, while the gently shaped neck gives the vase an elegant flowing profile.
The underside carries the Belleek seventh-period gold/brown backstamp. Belleek introduced this mark in April 1980, changing the original gold colour to a browner-toned gold around 1984 to improve the clarity of the mark. The seventh mark remained in use until 1993. Belleek Pottery
The Colonial vase is a documented discontinued Belleek form. Specialist replacement records identify shape 1219 at approximately 5¾ inches high, including examples specifically recorded with the seventh mark. Replacements
