Carlton Ware Rouge Royale Kingfisher & Vine 4391 Twin Handle Vase 4.5"

Such a characterful little Carlton Ware vase. The Rouge Royale ground is a deep, glossy burgundy red, beautifully set off by gilt edging and sweeping gold decoration. The Kingfisher & Vine design brings together richly coloured grape clusters and softly shaded leaves, with the bird motif adding another lovely detail to the scene.

The twin handles frame the flared rim, while the shaped, ribbed foot gives the vase a particularly elegant little silhouette. The base is marked Carlton Ware, Made in England, Trademark Rouge Royale. The pattern is Kingfisher & Vine, number 4391.

At approximately 4.5 inches high, it makes a lovely display piece for a shelf or cabinet, or a petite vase for a few favourite stems. One vase is included. some crazing to base
