Vintage Wedgwood Liverpool Birds Coffee Pot & Lid – Etruria & Barlaston

A striking vintage Wedgwood coffee pot in the discontinued Liverpool Birds pattern, featuring wonderfully detailed black transfer decoration against a warm cream ground.

The central scene depicts elegant exotic birds surrounded by trees, grasses and flowering plants, creating the intricate engraved appearance for which Liverpool Birds is known. A smaller floral motif decorates the matching domed lid, finished with a traditional rounded finial.

The tall coffee-pot form has an elegant curved handle and long sweeping spout, making this an attractive display piece as well as a useful replacement for an existing Wedgwood Liverpool Birds service.
