About Creigiau Pottery
Creigiau Pottery developed from the Southcliffe Ceramic Company, established by Reginald and Jean Southcliffe in 1947. The Creigiau name was adopted the following year, and the pottery produced both functional domestic wares and decorative ceramics.
Copper lustre became one of its recognisable finishes, alongside grey-glazed and incised pottery.
