Vintage Midwinter Style Calypso Milk Jug & Sugar Bowl – Retro English Tableware

A charming vintage Midwinter Style milk jug and open sugar bowl in the colourful Calypso pattern, made in England.

The matching pair features a wonderfully light retro design of fine vertical pastel lines with soft pink, yellow, green and blue abstract floral accents against white ceramic. The gently rounded shapes and understated decoration give the set a distinctly mid-century/retro feel.

The milk jug has a softly shaped pouring spout and integral handle, accompanied by the matching open sugar bowl. A lovely addition to a vintage tea or coffee service, or an attractive replacement pair for an existing Midwinter collection.

The base carries the printed Midwinter Style – Made in England backstamp and states that the ware is suitable for microwave, dishwasher and oven-to-table use.
