Pair of Limoges Lys Royal Bleu de Four & Fine Gold Floral Vases – 6"

A beautiful matching pair of vintage Porcelaine du Lys Royal Limoges vases, decorated in rich cobalt Bleu de Four with delicate iris decoration in fine gold.

Each vase has an elegant baluster form with a gently flared neck, deep glossy cobalt-blue ground and gilt edging around the rim and foot. The fronts are decorated with graceful iris flowers and foliage in contrasting matte gold.

The detailed base inscription identifies the decoration as Véritable Bleu de Four and states “+19% Or Fin”, referring to the fine-gold content used in the decoration.
