A striking matching pair of vintage emerald green glass vases, featuring an unusual combination of vertically ribbed optic glass and a hand-cut leaf garland around the upper body.
The rich green glass has a lovely depth of colour, with the cut leaves catching the light and appearing brighter against the emerald body. Each vase has a gently flared, rounded rim and substantial circular foot, giving the pair a beautifully balanced shape.
At approximately 16 cm tall with a 9.5 cm top diameter, they are a versatile size for displaying flowers or simply using as decorative vintage glass. Displayed together, they make a particularly attractive pair and would work beautifully in a vintage, Art Deco-inspired or eclectic interior.
The exact maker has not been identified. Similar examples are sometimes attributed online to Bohemian glass or Portmeirion Botanic Garden; however, I have not found sufficient evidence to confidently make either attribution, so these are offered simply as vintage European-style decorative glass.
