Royal Doulton Old Colony TC1005 Tea Cups & Saucers – Set of 2

A matching set of two vintage Royal Doulton Old Colony tea cups with two saucers, made in England.

The discontinued Old Colony TC1005 pattern combines delicate blue flowers with brown foliage and a blue border on a soft white ground. Fine ribbed detailing gives the cups and saucers additional texture, while the small floral decoration inside each cup is a particularly pretty finishing touch.

The original Royal Doulton backstamp identifies the pattern as Old Colony TC1005 and describes the ware as Fine China. The TC series was used by Royal Doulton for its English Translucent China ranges from around 1960 onwards. 

Old Colony was produced from approximately 1959 to 1988 and is now discontinued. 

Ideal for replacing missing pieces from an existing Old Colony service or adding extra place settings.
