A beautiful vintage Royal Doulton The Beaufort three-piece tea trio, comprising a footed teacup, matching saucer and side plate.
The Beaufort is an elegant discontinued Royal Doulton pattern featuring colourful floral garlands, decorative scalloped borders and warm gilt/mustard-toned edging. The centre design depicts a delicate pastoral landscape in sepia tones, with trees, water and distant architecture.
The footed teacup repeats the landscape scene inside the bowl, making this an especially attractive trio for display as well as use.
Royal Doulton's The Beaufort pattern was produced in England from approximately 1935 to 1960. Specialist replacement catalogues identify this particular variation as The Beaufort (Center Design).
