Set of 3 Vintage Lampwork Glass Rabbits – Pirelli Style Carrot Figures

A wonderfully characterful collection of three vintage handmade lampwork glass rabbit figurines, offered together as one group.

The largest rabbit stands approximately 5 inches high and has an elongated clear glass body, spectacular emerald-green ears and individually applied facial details. He is shown holding a bright orange-red glass carrot.

The smaller seated rabbit has contrasting ivory-coloured ears and also holds a colourful carrot, while the third rabbit is modelled in a playful crouching pose with warm amber ears, feet and tail.

Each figurine has been individually formed from glass, giving the three rabbits their own distinct proportions, expressions and poses.

The collection shows strong similarities to vintage Pirelli Glass lampwork animals produced at Potters Bar, England. Pirelli Glass was established in 1945 specifically to produce decorative glass giftware and lampworked animals. Ysart Glass

Rabbits are documented in Pirelli's 1959 catalogue, with standard examples recorded in both large and small sizes. As none of these examples retains a manufacturer's label, they are offered as vintage Pirelli-style lampwork glass, rather than as definitively authenticated Pirelli pieces.
