Set of 6 Vintage Duchess Bone China Burgundy Gold Floral Tea Trios – 18 Pieces

A beautiful matching six-person vintage tea set by Duchess Bone China of England, comprising six complete tea trios.

Each place setting consists of:

1 teacup + 1 saucer + 1 side plate

Giving 18 pieces in total.

The elegant white bone china is decorated with dramatic burgundy and gold ornamental panels, interspersed with delicate sprays of pink, yellow and blue flowers. Fine gilt edging completes the wonderfully traditional English afternoon-tea appearance.

The pieces carry the Duchess Bone China England crown backstamp.

Duchess produced numerous named and numbered patterns in this general mid-century period. Comparable documented Duchess trios are commonly dated to the 1950s–1970s, but because your backstamp does not show a pattern name or number, I wouldn't give this particular design a precise date.

I also wouldn't call the pattern “Butterfly”. I haven't found reliable evidence connecting that name with this exact decoration, and the visible design is better described simply as burgundy, gold and floral.
