Villeroy & Boch Gallo Switch Summerhouse Yellow Coffee Pot & Lid

A wonderfully cheerful Villeroy & Boch Gallo Design Switch Summerhouse lidded coffee pot, made in Germany.

The pot features the distinctive Summerhouse combination of a sunny yellow checked body with fresh green detailing. The original fitted lid is decorated with a bold green scroll border and finished with a green oval finial, creating a playful country-style design typical of the Switch collection.

Produced in Vitro-Porzellan, the original backstamp confirms that the piece is both dishwasher and microwave safe and was made in Germany.

Switch Summerhouse was produced from approximately 1998 to 2005 as a mix-and-match tableware collection. The range incorporated several coordinating decorative variations, allowing differently patterned pieces to be combined within the same service. Porzelino

A particularly useful find for anyone looking to complete or extend an existing Switch Summerhouse service, as larger serving pieces such as complete coffee pots are considerably less common than individual cups and plates.
