Vintage 1960s JAJ Pyrex Kent Orchard Fruit Casserole Dish & Lid – 6.75"

A fabulous piece of 1960s British Pyrex, this vintage JAJ casserole dish features the wonderfully colourful Kent Orchard fruit pattern and retains its original clear glass lid.

The white opal glass body is decorated with a wonderfully retro assortment of pears, apples and purple fruits with green foliage, creating the unmistakable warm autumnal palette associated with this pattern.

The clear Pyrex lid has substantial moulded side handles and can be reversed, giving the casserole its characteristic mid-century JAJ appearance.

The pattern is properly documented as JAJ Pyrex Kent Orchard, also known to collectors as Hawaii. Pattern reference material identifies it as No. 516 and dates production to approximately 1966–1970.

So although production technically continued into 1970, describing this as 1960s Pyrex is entirely appropriate.

Condition

Good vintage pre-owned condition with expected signs of previous use.

The clear lid shows surface scratches and age-related wear, as visible in the photographs. Please inspect all images carefully for the condition of the glass, decoration, rim and lid.
