Vintage Blue Grey Optic Ribbed Glass Carafe

An unusual vintage glass carafe with an elegant bulbous body, narrow waist and flared neck, finished with a formed pouring lip.

The glass has pronounced vertical optic ribbing extending from the base through the body and neck, creating attractive reflections and movement in the glass. There is a subtle blue-grey smoky tone, particularly noticeable towards the substantial base.

The simple handleless form gives it a particularly clean, elegant appearance and it could be used as a water or drinks carafe, or simply displayed as a decorative piece of vintage glass.
