Vintage Hernandez Puebla Mexico Hand-Painted Talavera-Style Wall Plate – 13"

A striking vintage hand-painted Mexican pottery wall plate, signed Hernandez, Puebla, and measuring approximately 13 inches across.

The plate features an intricate traditional folk-art design painted in rich but earthy shades of deep teal green, ochre yellow, terracotta, cobalt blue and cream. Concentric decorative borders surround a beautifully balanced central floral motif, with the slight variations in brushwork giving the piece the character expected of hand-painted pottery.

The reverse bears the handwritten Hernandez / Puebla signature and retains its hanging wire, allowing the plate to be displayed immediately as wall art.
