Vintage Honiton Pottery Hand-Painted Fish Dish – Devon Art Pottery

A wonderfully quirky vintage Honiton Pottery rectangular fish dish, hand decorated in Devon, England.

The dish features a wonderfully expressive stylised fish in black, purple, blue and yellow, surrounded by mottled purple and blue sponge decoration and a turquoise-green border. The deliberately loose, almost naïve illustration gives it heaps of mid-century seaside character. 🐟💜
