Vintage Italian Hand Painted Large Pig Figurine

A wonderfully characterful large reclining pig figurine, made in Italy and finished by hand.

The pig is realistically modelled with finely textured hair across the body, floppy ears, trotters and an expressive face. Finished in soft natural cream/beige tones, it has a lovely rustic appearance that would work particularly well in a farmhouse kitchen or country-style interior.

The original label reads:

“Dipinto a Mano – Made in Italy – Europe – Painted by Hand”

Dipinto a mano is Italian for “painted by hand” and is a description of the decoration rather than a confirmed manufacturer's name.
