Early Royal Albert backstamp

This coffee pot is described as bearing an earlier Royal Albert Old Country Roses backstamp, with a rose illustration, red script lettering and the “Royal Albert Bone China England” marking. This style of backstamp is associated with the earlier production period, approximately 1962–1974. The Old Country Roses pattern was introduced in 1962 and has since become one of Royal Albert’s best-known floral designs.
