Vintage Thomas Webb Cut Crystal Jug – Signed Thos Webb England – 5.25"

A beautiful vintage Thomas Webb cut crystal jug, made in England and standing approximately 5.25 inches tall.

Made from substantial clear crystal, the jug has a rounded body, elegant applied loop handle and shaped pouring lip. The decoration combines deeply cut geometric motifs around the body with horizontal cutting around the neck and a particularly attractive starburst-cut base.

The underside carries the THOS WEBB ENGLAND maker's mark, confirming its Thomas Webb manufacture.

This particular form of the Thomas Webb mark is documented as being used from approximately 1966 to 1980, placing the jug firmly within the later mid-century period.

Thomas Webb's surviving 1977 catalogue confirms that the company was producing small cut-crystal jugs of around 5 inches during this period, including designs decorated with combinations of star, fan, diamond and prismatic cutting.
