Wedgwood Home Indigo Pair of 22.5cm Oval Gratin Serving Dishes

Pair of Vintage Wedgwood Home Indigo Gratin Dishes

A matching pair of oval serving dishes from the Wedgwood Home Indigo range, made in fine porcelain and decorated with the distinctive blue patchwork design associated with the collection.

The wide patterned borders combine soft blue washes, stripes, checks and floral motifs with subtle touches of green and pink, surrounding a clean white centre. Each dish has small integral handles at either end.

Ideal for gratins, vegetables, side dishes or oven-to-table serving, and particularly useful as replacement pieces for an existing Wedgwood Home Indigo service.

The Indigo range was produced in Portugal during the mid-1990s. Surviving marked examples are recorded as fine porcelain and suitable for dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer use.
